Los Angeles, CA (February 14 , 2007) - Last year's 4th Annual Artivist Film Festival toured 3 countries and attracted a record-breaking attendance. The festival began in Hollywood, on November 8th, concluded one month later in London, U.K., and highlighted 60 socially conscious films representing 25 countries. The Festival in Hollywood concluded with the 2007 Artivist Awards, and Honored Ted Danson, Alyssa Milano, and Claes Noble, of the Noble Prize Family, for their outstanding dedication towards human rights, animal advocacy, and environmental protection.
During the awards ceremony a captivated audience listened and watched as Artivist friend and global humanitarian Claes Nobel thanked the Artivist for his honor. Upon receiving his award, Claes shared his experience in having attended many Nobel Prize Awards over the years, describing his honor as a " paramount juggernaut" and added humorously that it felt "Darn Good!"
Mr. Noble went on to thank Artivist for "advancing the work of individuals, corporations, and organizations who are inspired to spread bravely and truthfully the mission of creating a world that is better, safer and saner than the one that we have today."
